DL DAV Foundation Day commemorates the inception of the DAV educational institutions. It serves as a reminder of the institution's founding principles and its significant contributions to education. On this day, students, teachers and the larger community come together to commemorate the journey of DL DAV and reaffirm their dedication to excellence in education. 

DLDAV Model School , Pitampura celebrated its 43rd Foundation Day on 12th April 2024. To mark this day a range of activities  were organised for the students.

The students showcased their talents by expressing their affection for the school on the Tagline ' SOARING TO EXCELLENCE'.

All the students contributed to celebrate this wonderful occasion in every possible way. Students crafted posters , created beautiful folders and wrote articles  to honor DL DAV Foundation Day, showcasing the institution's rich history and values. Each activity depicted key milestones, eminent alumni, and inspiring quotes, encapsulating the essence of DL DAV's educational journey. Vibrant colors and creative designs adorned the creativities, capturing the attention of passersby and igniting a sense of pride within the school community. Through their artwork and writings the students celebrated the legacy of DL DAV and reaffirmed their commitment to its principles of excellence and holistic education.

  “At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom…”  These were the words  by the first Prime Minister of Independent India Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru on the eve of independence in 1947. Undoubtedly on  this day we pay tribute to our freedom fighters who laid down their lives for the sake of our motherland.  DLDAV Model School,  Pitampura kept this spirit high by paying tribute to the Nation and our founding fathers commemorating the 76th Independence Day.  Principal ma'am, the faculty members and the students welcomed the Guest of Honour Mr Amit Nagpal, a distinguished MCD Councillor who inspired the students with his noble ideas on India's struggle for Independence imbibing a sense of Nationalism and Patriotism amongst the students. Independence Day Celebration - Badge Making Activity

  BADGE MAKING ACTIVITY THEME - INDEPENDENCE DAY The Senior Wing of the school (X -XII) enthusiastically participated in the badge-making activity using Eco-Friendly Material depicting the true colors of Freedom using the Tri Colors. Principal ma'am appreciated the creativity and aesthetic sense of the students while selecting the best entries. Students celebrated the day with full fervor by wearing  hand made badges during the special Assembly.
