 LOVE THE EARTH AS YOU WOULD LOVE YOURSELF                 World Earth Day was celebrated in our school on 20 April ,2023. The event included various activities such as Paper Bag Making for Class X and designing of a cartoon depicting satire on Environment Conservation by Class XI & XII students. The theme of the celebration was " SAVE EARTH , SAVE ENVIRONMENT . "      Let's view the glimpses of their creativity 

  Visit to the Gandhi Museum   On April 13 and April 15,2023 You must be the change you wish to see in the World              Our school DLDAV in collaboration with NIE (Newspaper in Education) organized a field trip in two groups to the "ETERNAL GANDHI MUSEUM" alias Gandhi Smriti, a place where Gandhi Ji spent his last 144 days, for class X students. It was a very fruitful and educational trip. We had the opportunity to learn about the life and achievements of Mahatma Gandhi and walk in the footsteps of the historical record of his legacy and philosophy of non-violence. Gandhi Darshan is dedicated to the philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi, showcasing his life and ideas through interactive exhibits, multimedia, and installations in the museum. The Prayer Spot near the Gandhi Smriti was one of the main attractions of the whole trip. The Library in the museum had hundreds of books presenting the various Life teachings of Mahatma Gandhi and his efforts in showing the country its

  “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.” A true leader works for a cause in the spirit of selfless service and not for applause.  To inculcate the spirit of responsibility , integrity and leadership , the Senior wing Student Council of class XII and Prefectorial Board of the five house  for the session 2023 - 2024 was formed after strenous interviews and the process of selection.  The newly elected student council members pledged to work earnestly and uphold the honour and glory of the institution while receiving their prestigious Flag and sach from  Respected Principal Ma'am.  It was a proud moment  to witness students being invested with great responsibilities while embarking on a new journey as leaders.  Principal Ma'am congratulated and  motivated the students to keep moving forward despite all the obstacles and challenges that life throws.                             Embracing A Glorious Past ,    Envisioning  A Bright Future  DLDAV Model School , Pitampura celebrated 42nd Foundation Day on 12th April 2023. To mark this day range of activities including speeches, drawing competitions, poetry writing, cultural programs were organised for the students.  The students of classe X to XII showcased their talent by expressing their affection for the school on the tagline —— * FOUNDATION to PINNACLE * .   Let’s view the glimpses of their creativity.  

                                                    ROAD SAFETY CAMPAIGN AND DRIVE Under the guidance and ever lasting motivation by Respected Principal Ma'am ,  The Road Safety Brigade of DLDAV Model School , Pitampura  organised a Four Days Road Safety campaign and drive from 10th April to 13th April , 2023 to sensitize students , parents and community on safe driving and to obey safety rules on road. The Brigade aimed to raise awareness in and around school area about responsible behavior of people on roads. Issues like wrong side driving , rash driving , riding without helmets , wrong parking , chaos on roads were addressed for everyone’s safety. Commuters were also explained about the methods and necessities of road safety, which means they must understand the use of helmets or seat belts while driving on the road or anywhere. The mission was successful to a greater extent with the motto  “Bringing Change through Youth Power”  , thus following the theme for this year's cam
