ELECTORAL LITERACY CLUB

 INDUCTION CEREMONY     12 Nov , 2024              

        The Electoral Literacy Club for our senior students in classes 10-12 is a meaningful step toward building informed future voters. The event began with distributing badges and presenting teachers with the Constitution to symbolize the commitment followed by an oath taken by the cabinet members. We introduced the club's objectives, rules, and activities like debates and mock elections. Students also received a questionnaire to reflect on their understanding of democracy and civic responsibilities, sparking insightful  discussions.

        The club is designed to empower students to become active and responsible citizens who are committed to upholding democratic values and contributing to the betterment of their society.


             

   Electoral Literacy Club not only stages co-curricular activities but also prepares students to be an aware voter and citizens with knowledge on who to vote and how to vote.

A Special Assembly was organized on July 23rd, 2024 at Mahatma Hansraj Auditorium of DLDAV Model School, ND Block, Pitampura to welcome the new Principal Mrs. Anupama Sinha.
