     “The best way to predict the future is to create it.”   Sustainable development is the development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Humor and Environmental Crisis explores how satire and humour can be employed to address and mitigate ecological crises at individual and collective levels. A Cartoon Making Activity was organized for the students of class XI and XII with the theme of depicting humor on how we are destroying the environment as an initiative by the Eco Club. Students displayed great artistic skills and talent in their presentations.   Paper Folder Making Activity Class X students actively contributed to environmental conservation efforts. COMMERCE QUIZ - 23.4.24

  TIME EDUCATION BIZECOM 2024 - THE INTER SCHOOL COMMERCE QUIZ was conducted by the TIME GROUP for classes XI and XII during zero period in the classrooms. The Preliminary Round consisted of MCQ Format of questionnaire and a pair of two students attempted the quiz as one team. Students participated  with great enthusiasm and displayed the skills of team work and collaboration.

  World Heritage Day   DL DAV Model School , Pitampura commemorated World Heritage Day on 18th April, to honor the world's cultures and heritage sites under th e able guidance of Ms. Reeta Maheshwari. The aim was to raise awareness among the students regarding the diversity of India’s cultural heritage and to sensitize them towards their role as the custodians of the rich and unique magnificent cultural legacy. As a part of the celebration,   students of class X participated enthusiastically in the quiz on the topic “ World Heritage sites”. A small documentary had also shown to them to apprise the learners with the heritage sites, and contribute towards the preservation of our Country’s heritage in our own little way.   CROWNING THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW "Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality" - Warren G Bennis Investiture ceremony is not just the bestowing of titles and responsibilities; it is the celebration of potential, the recognition of capability and the commitment to a journey of growth and excellence.  To inculcate the spirit of responsibility , integrity and leadership , the Senior wing Student Council of class XII and Prefectorial Board of the five house  for the session 2024 - 2025 was delegated with authority on April 18 , 2024.  The Student Council took the pledge to hold the motto of Loyalty, Truth and Honour in high esteem. The Prefects  of the Houses and the entire Council took the oath along with the  Senior Head Boy and Head Girl , to abide by the school rules and bestow their duties to the best of their abilities.
