SPORTS MANIA - CLASS XI ( 29.1.24)

On 29th of January  2024, DLDAV Model School , Pitampura hosted the much awaited Sports Day for class XI students  with great ardour and zeal. On this occasion, Principal Ma'am  appreciated the importance of sports and extracurricular activities in the lives of students as they embark on their path to holistic development. She also stressed upon the fact  that “failure does not matter” and that the mere act of participation symbolised courage.

Principal Ma'am inaugurated the event with the opening of scroll and declared the sports week open. This was further followed by warm up exercises  , competitions , throw ball and cricket matches for the students.

Undoubtedly on  this day we pay tribute to our freedom fighters who laid down their lives for the sake of our motherland.  DLDAV Model School,  Pitampura kept this spirit high by paying tribute to the Nation and our founding fathers commemorating the 76th Independence Day.  Principal ma'am, the faculty members and the students welcomed the Guest of Honour Mr Amit Nagpal, a distinguished MCD Councillor who inspired the students with his noble ideas on India's struggle for Independence imbibing a sense of Nationalism and Patriotism amongst the students. Independence Day Celebration - Badge Making Activity

  BADGE MAKING ACTIVITY THEME - INDEPENDENCE DAY The Senior Wing of the school (X -XII) enthusiastically participated in the badge-making activity using Eco-Friendly Material depicting the true colors of Freedom using the Tri Colors. Principal ma'am appreciated the creativity and aesthetic sense of the students while selecting the best entries. Students celebrated the day with full fervor by wearing  hand made badges during the special Assembly.
