REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS - 25.1.24

"The Constitution is not a mere lawyers' document; it is a vehicle of Life, and its spirit is always the spirit of the age."

The 26th of January, our Republic Day, is a red-letter day as the constitution of free India came into effect. The 75th Republic Day was celebrated with pride and reverence at DLDAV Model School, Pitampura. The ceremony began with the hoisting of the tricolor flag by the Principal Mrs. Seema Agarwal followed by the National Anthem and the National Song.

Principal Ma'am in her address apprised the students about the making of the Indian Constitution, its unique features and the underlying values that shall work as a guiding force towards ethics for the present and the future generations.

The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and brotherhood through live musical band , group dance , speech , self-composed poem and a presentation by class XI students - ' Har Jeevan Ka Ek Aadhaar - Hamara Samvidhaan'.

The school echoed with patriotic fervor as the students danced to the tunes of patriotism, sang patriotic songs, and even wore tri-coloured clothes  to mark the occasion.

The program concluded with a pledge to  build a stronger, more resilient India, where the flame of democracy continues to illuminate our path towards a brighter tomorrow. Jai Hind!
