DL DAV Model School, Pitampura observed Vigilance Awareness Week on November 3, 2025 under the flagship of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, based on the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.” A Slogan Writing Competition for Class X students marked the highlight of the celebration. The activity encouraged students to creatively express their views on honesty, integrity, and the collective fight against corruption. The participants enthusiastically penned impactful slogans that reflected their strong sense of ethics and civic responsibility. The event instilled in students the importance of being accountable citizens and emphasized that vigilance is a shared responsibility in building a transparent and corruption-free society. Higher Education & Career Guidance Day

 “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” Darbari Lal DAV Model School organized a Higher Education & Career Guidance Day on 17th October 2025 to guide students toward informed and inspired career choices. The event aimed to provide valuable insights into higher education opportunities, career pathways, and skill development for future success. Senior Admission Counsellor from Graphic Era University Dehradun, Ms. Ujala shared valuable insights on career exploration, emerging technologies, self-awareness, networking, and professional growth. After the interactive session, students had the opportunity to engage directly with university representatives at various help desks. Gratitude to Principal Ma'am, Ms Anupama Sinha, for providing this enriching opportunity to the students and helping them in giving a shape to their bright future.

  Sharing is caring — the more we share, the more we grow together.” Sharing is not just giving; it is the essence of compassion and community.     The Annual Sambhaav Diwali Sale, held on 11 October 2025, radiated festive cheer and creativity. Students of Classes X–XI showcased an impressive range of products — including vibrant diyas, scented candles, planters, rangoli stencils and colours, wall hangings and a variety of traditional pooja items.The innovative stalls reflected sustainability, artistry, and entrepreneurial spirit.  Heartfelt gratitude to Principal Ma’am, Ms. Anupama Sinha, for giving us an opportunity to celebrate the festival of light with the joy of giving happiness to the poor and the needy.

SCHOLASTIC ASSEMBLY - LITERARY KALEIDOSCOPE

"Literature is the mirror of life, reflecting countless worlds of imagination.” A special assembly was conducted by the students of Class X under the Scholastic Internship Programme on October 9, 2025.  The assembly presented a vibrant kaleidoscope of literary genres—fantasy, adventure, sci-fi, humour and more. Students brought alive the protagonists of various stories through engaging role plays, effectively highlighting the unique features of each genre. Their performances were highly appreciated by all. Heartfelt gratitude to our Honourable Principal Ma’am, Ms. Anupama Sinha, for her constant support and guidance.

DEAR ACTIVITY

“Reading is more than just a habit; it is a lifelong skill that opens minds, builds empathy, and strengthens imagination.” The Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) Activity was organized under the Scholastic Interns Programme on October 9, 2025, for the senior wing (Classes X–XII) during the zero period. Students brought along their favourite novels and storybooks, immersing themselves in the joy of reading. The activity highlighted the importance of reading not only for knowledge and critical thinking but also for imagination and lifelong growth beyond academics. Heartfelt gratitude to our revered Principal Ma’am, Ms. Anupama Sinha, for initiating such meaningful activities and nurturing a culture of reading among students.
