  A workshop on Financial Literacy and Digital Tools was held by CBSE on December 27, 2024, at the school premises, designed to educate and inform teachers about the importance of financial literacy and how digital tools can assist in personal financial management. The resource person for the workshop was Mr. Ram Kumar Gupta, an expert with over 18 years of experience in financial planning, training, and courseware development. He has collaborated with industry leaders such as CBSE, Ambition Academy, Cafe Mutual, and Forum India, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the session. The workshop covered a range of essential topics, including budgeting, saving, investing, and managing finances using digital tools. You are braver than you think, more talented than you know, and capable of more than you imagine.” DLDAV MODEL SCHOOL PITAMPURA celebrated its annual event SPECTRUM 2024, a Kaleidoscope of Expressions for class XI on 26th December , 2024. It was truly an amalgamation  of creativity, innovation and an exhibition of teamwork  where  students representing different houses participated with full zeal and enthusiasm in panorama of events. Spectrum 2024 not only displayed the inherent talents and diverse abilities of students but also emphasized that winning and participating were equally valuable aspects of any competition, further inspiring them to continue their pursuit of excellence. The students were applauded by our esteemed  Principal ma'am and Respective Judges for their participation and exploring the limitless world  of art and culture. Special Assembly - International Day of Persons with Disabilities (3rd December 2024)

                  Special Assembly -  International Day of Persons with Disabilities DL DAV Model School, Pitampura, celebrated the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3rd December 2024, with a dedicated focus on raising awareness and sensitizing Class XI students to the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. The program commenced with the DAV Gaan.  This was followed by the formal felicitation of our esteemed guests: Mr. Vikas Chauhan, Mr. Mant Ram, Mr. Satyapal Singh, and Mrs. Nirmal Sharma. The respected Principal, Mrs. Anupama Sinha, addressed the gathering, sharing her personal reflections and offering a profound perspective on the importance of recognizing and supporting people with disabilities.                             Enterprise House Initiative - Folder-Making Competition   To celebrate Children’s Day, Enterprise House organized the Folder-Making Competition under the theme "Crafting Creative Folders". Each house submitted one creative folder of size 13”x 10” from classes (X, XI, and XII).   "The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." — Lao Tzu The Confluence Career Fair 2024 was held on November 12, 2024, within the premises of DLDAV Pitampura to provide students from classes X to XII with valuable information about a wide range of career options across various fields. The event also aimed to raise awareness about emerging career opportunities that students can explore for their future. Representatives from over 15 national and international universities participated, showcasing the diverse courses they offer. The fair provided a unique platform for students to interact with representatives from these reputed institutions, gaining insightful advice and guidance on potential career paths. YOUTH PARLIAMENT - 25.10.24

                  “Every great accomplishment starts with a youthful dream” The Youth Parliament organized at DLDAV Model School , Pitampura aimed to provide students with a platform to engage in simulated parliamentary proceedings, fostering a better understanding of legislative processes and encouraging active participation in democratic discourse. The students discussed the issue of the Women's Reservation Bill, Uniform Civil Code, Annual Budget, government welfare schemes, Agriculture reforms, Communal harmony, Illegal Emigration The students of classes IXth and Xth participated with full zeal in the mock parliament, representing different portfolios.
