  Sharing is caring — the more we share, the more we grow together.” Sharing is not just giving; it is the essence of compassion and community.     The Annual Sambhaav Diwali Sale, held on 11 October 2025, radiated festive cheer and creativity. Students of Classes X–XI showcased an impressive range of products — including vibrant diyas, scented candles, planters, rangoli stencils and colours, wall hangings and a variety of traditional pooja items.The innovative stalls reflected sustainability, artistry, and entrepreneurial spirit.  Heartfelt gratitude to Principal Ma’am, Ms. Anupama Sinha, for giving us an opportunity to celebrate the festival of light with the joy of giving happiness to the poor and the needy.

SCHOLASTIC ASSEMBLY - LITERARY KALEIDOSCOPE

"Literature is the mirror of life, reflecting countless worlds of imagination.” A special assembly was conducted by the students of Class X under the Scholastic Internship Programme on October 9, 2025.  The assembly presented a vibrant kaleidoscope of literary genres—fantasy, adventure, sci-fi, humour and more. Students brought alive the protagonists of various stories through engaging role plays, effectively highlighting the unique features of each genre. Their performances were highly appreciated by all. Heartfelt gratitude to our Honourable Principal Ma’am, Ms. Anupama Sinha, for her constant support and guidance.

DEAR ACTIVITY

“Reading is more than just a habit; it is a lifelong skill that opens minds, builds empathy, and strengthens imagination.” The Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) Activity was organized under the Scholastic Interns Programme on October 9, 2025, for the senior wing (Classes X–XII) during the zero period. Students brought along their favourite novels and storybooks, immersing themselves in the joy of reading. The activity highlighted the importance of reading not only for knowledge and critical thinking but also for imagination and lifelong growth beyond academics. Heartfelt gratitude to our revered Principal Ma’am, Ms. Anupama Sinha, for initiating such meaningful activities and nurturing a culture of reading among students.

A VISIT TO GLOBAL CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION AT BHARAT MANDAPAM

Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) organised its 20th Higher Education Summit 2025, a Global Conference and Exhibition on 06 October 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. This year’s theme, “Higher Education in a Transforming World: Bridging Borders, Building Futures”, focused on the opportunities shaping higher education in the 21st century. Fifteen commerce students of class XI accompanied by their teacher coordinator, Ms. Sangita Pallav, attended the exhibition. The exhibition showcased numerous Indian and International Universities, offering detailed information about the courses, admission procedures, scholarships and future career prospects. Students interacted with the university representatives, explored new fields of study and understood the importance of global education.   🌟 A Day to Remember at Darbari Lal DAV! 🌟 We proudly hosted the Interact Club Induction Ceremony, and what a heartwarming celebration it was – a beautiful blend of youth leadership, compassion, and service. 💙 The event began with something truly special – the launch of ‘Prerna’, our new initiative aimed at creating real, lasting social impact. It was a moment filled with purpose and hope, as our students took their first steps toward becoming empathetic and responsible citizens. 🌱 The energy in the room was magical! From the soulful welcome song, a graceful classical dance, to a touching poem on ‘Roti’ that spoke to the heart about hunger and empathy – each performance reminded us of the power of compassion. The broader mission is to create a vibrant, student-led space where financial learning is engaging, practical, and deeply integrated into everyday school life—fostering creativity, leadership, and critical thinking.
